Crime Continues Apace
- Two men were fatally shot -- one while leaving a high school basketball game -- in separate Wednesday night shootings on the West and South sides.
It seems more so lately that these weekday homicides are the ones driving the totals. Any detective or bean counter have a breakdown of homicides per Sun/Mon/Tues/etc? We know Friday and Saturday have traditionally been the big days, but we've noticed a definite uptick on other days, too.

Shergio Dukes (who was kilt at 96/Indiana) was recently arrested for UUW, I believe...

So with all these "MISSIONS" being broadcasted daily over the radio, which mind you make us sound sooooooooo busy and involved now, I have a couple of questions.
Which district is really impressing Jody and the staff as the most poactive mission working district?
With all the bosses scambling to get their stats or numbers of BS missions together and contact cards and street roll calls etc. WHO PRIDES THEMSELF AS THE COMMANDER ELITE?
My opinion is if you are the best at leading the city in these categories, then you are like a major league baseball player leading the league in how many FOUL BALLS you hit!
Foul balls are meaningless and attempts and really don't mean anything nor amount ot anything but it shows YOU TRIED....I guess!
Wonder how many Hall of Famers of Baseball led in Foul Balls hit their careers!

Sunday is a great day for homicides! You gotta get all them "Choir Boys" on their way to church.

Interesting angle for the media... "Sergio Dukes" who was dead at 96/Michigan was arrested in May of '08 for first degree murder. Guess our brillant prosecution couldn't keep him behind bars. That's what I love about the streets... No felony review, and 100% conviction rate. GO STREET JUSTICE!

Basketball should be outlawed. They have contributed to more murders than Sunday Mass.
How is it that the FOP is going to pay for Burge's legal bills? He wasn't a patrolman. He was a commander. Was he paying his 300 a year back then to be in the FOP? I thought that wasn't allowed back then. I thought that management was not allowed to be in a Faternal Organization?
Anyone have an anser?
I believe Burge is getting fucked, but do not believe we should pay muti-million dollar legal fees to defend him if he was not an active member of the FOP.
I heard that all Northside Tact teams will be assigned to SWAT??? Any truth to this? Something about their intense, eLearning on-line training! Damn those guys are good! Maybe its how they wear their uniform duty rig over their OLD NAVY painters pants, with the name plate and star on the vest.
