Park Ridge Problems?
This would seem to be something that happens in less affluent departments, not Park Ridge:
Investigators from the Cook County state's attorney's office, assisted by the FBI, seized arrest reports, incident reports, payroll records, computer records and some personnel files from the Park Ridge Police Department, a police spokesman from the northwest suburb confirmed today.
Park Ridge police say they're cooperating fully in the investigation, but are in the dark about its exact nature.
Oh wait, it's Anita Alvarez again, attempting to live up to her campaign promises of jailing police officers.

Was this a Park Ridge Honor student?
Is that where all of the State's Attorney's Office is hiding all of its Investigators? Maybe they should be the ones serving subpoenas instead of making the Detectives do that? It is not the job of the Chicago Police Department to serve subpoenas for the CCSAO. Or to drive witnesses. Or to find witnesses when court is on. Maybe they can put of a few of the Investigators back doing the jobs they were hired to do????

Whenever I hear Cook County States Attorneys and FBI in the same sentence lately, the hairs on my arm raise up and I get goosebumps. The mistrust I have for Anita Alvarez is offsetting and if still working I'd have had to throw it in neutral until I got a clearer view of what was going on over there.
Well Detective, why would you be serving their subpoenas and driving their witnesses? Nobody at the CCASO makes us do anything, don't forget that.

But, Park Ridge had a long time police dept head that was female. I thought that having a female head was going to solve the good ole boy problems. Look back at the papers when she was appointed and the issues that developed.

They will probably soon be under a court order requiring them to have a certain number of wobbly, creaking scrap metal trucks with handmade cardboard license plates, people on street corners selling fruit beverages from baby carriages, broken newspaper machines with free Spanish-language papers blowing all over the place, etc.

Park Ridge never had a female Chief, just a Commander. Course, a previous chief possibly did take lessons from J-Fed.....
This little bird said that there have been a few horrible things that happened... and a Grand Jury was formed with most coppers taking the 5th, but you know, 3 can keep a secret when 2 are dead.
1. Copper had his window busted out while off duty by some punks and chased them down and gave them an old fashion street beating.... damn there goes the neighborhood.
2. Some piece of shit was telling his girlfreind that he wanted to shoot some copper that had been giving him a hard time. So the Dets went over to the mutts apt and broke in and proceeded to give him an old fashion street beating...
