Indictment in Dispatcher Death
A Chicago teen has been indicted by a grand jury in connection with a police chase and deadly crash that killed a 911 dispatcher.
[...], Marquis Harrison, 16, is charged as an adult with first-degree murder and burglary. Police say he was driving a stolen sport-utility vehicle early on Sunday, July 10, when he hit a car being driven by Marciea Adkins, 42, and left her dead.
Now let's see a conviction and a weighty sentence.

We'll see how far this goes in Crook County and the liberal asshole prosecutors and judges.
good , but lets see if it evolves into real accountability or just more BS
This moron won't get much time if any. Goes to the State Juvie jail till he is 21. Poor working woman, wife, and Mom will never have her life to live. How sad.
1:22:00 you couldn't be more wrong. He is charged as an adult, so he would be sentenced as an adult. He's facing felony murder. He's going away for a long time.
Aviation Police = reward for being a good Chicago Democrat retired Chicago Police Officer
I didn't know where to fit this in, and this may not be the right place.
But...Today is the 40th anniversary of the death of "Flying Officer Irv Hayden" after his CPD helicopter crashed near Bellwood. I, probably like many of my generation, became familiar with him while watching the old Ray Raynor show on WGN. Watching Ray Raynor break the news was like losing a member of my own family.
I was just a kid then, but I still remember that day as if it were yesterday. To this day, everytime I see a CPD helicopter in the sky, I think back to "Flying Officer Irv" giving those traffic reports. I can't believe it's been 40 years.
RIP.

Wouldn't that be a hoot. Daley throws Burge in front of the liberals bus......and he ends up under it too.
Don't get me wrong, this whole suit is wrong. These guys are vicious animals one and all. I just think it would be amusing to see Daley go to jail for some ridiculous thing after he (and his family) got away with
everything else.
Well, at least the press didn't blame the police for chasing the moron honor student and scaring him so much he "accidentally struck" a vehicle. Its a slight change of bias that looks promising. Imagine,a future with the press thinking and reporting like normal people, WOW.
Good rot in hell markweese
she was a zone 1 dispatcher on midnites and survived "mj"--- mj is a legend on zone 1 and I'm sure she is feeling a lot of pain over this incident--- mj may not be well liked but she really does care--- she may be salty as hell but she knows more about the job than half the people on the zone--- hopefully this little asshole gets launched into outer space for the next 80 years....
