Chicago Skews Stats
- The city's big uptick in murders this year is helping fuel a national spike, according to a study. The national murder rate is expected to rise by 13.1 percent by the end of 2016, and nearly half of that comes just from Chicago, according to a report from the Brennan Center for Justice, which studied 30 of the country's biggest cities to see how violence has changed this year.
Other major cities, like New York and Baltimore, have seen murders fall.
And while the national overall crime rate is expected to remain about the same this year as it was in 2015, Chicago is projected to see a 9.1 percent increase, according to the report.
This is going to put a crimp in Rahm's chances for a spot in Washington. We mean besides the fact that Trump won.

Question: Is Chicago screwing with the homicide statistics? On Feb 7, 2016 Marques Gaines was at a 7-11 store at 400 N Clark. Video inside the store showed a verbal altercation between Gaines and another black man. Security intervened and Gaines walked outside followed by the other black man, We saw it all on the news. Gaines was sucker punched and fell into the street. He laid there motionless for two minutes or more. Street camera showed two other black males run up to his motionless body and remove articles from his pockets. The man who struck him hung around only feet away from where he laid in the street. Then a taxi making a turn to go south on State ran over Gaines and pinned him beneath the cab.
Gaines died at the hospital and the coroner ruled it a homicide. Area 3 investigated and there were two RD numbers. One for Aggravated Battery and another for a Traffic accident. Rightly so the taxi driver was not charged and the traffic case was closed. The Aggravated Battery remained open.
Since then independent investigators have gathered other video of the incident and clear video of the man who struck Gaines. He has been identified by name and his arrest history is known. This information as well as photos and video of the offender have been turned over to Area 3.
However, it seems that there is no interest in finding the offender who struck Gaines. Could it be because CPD is still carrying this as a Death Investigation and if so they are not interested in solving the case because it would then add to the homicide total for 2016. Yes I know that it is most likely that the offender would probably only be charged with Involuntary Manslaughter or Reckless Conduct but it is still a homicide.
Can anyone from Area 3 let us know how this case is being carried. We know that there is no stop order or warrant for the offender.
Where else can gangbangers smoke weed, drink Hennessy, and go shoot without a care in the world? Hmmm, I will give you a hint (Chiraq). Yes you are correct. A city where politicians cater to gangbangers and not the tax paying citizens. The DOJ are 100% the reason for this along with alder creatures, Rahm, BLM, & the black community that allows this kind of behavior be the norm. If I didn't have a couple of years left I definitely would be gone to a red state. Wait until next year it will make this year seem like a walk in the park.

I would guess 99% of us cannot imagine the extreme carnage that these people inflict, if you went to New York during 9-11 and the smells, the people, the body-parts, nothing is like that and nothing can prepare us for that type of inhumanity. There's Rahm's stats and then there's everybody else's. Rahm gets to publish what he believes nobody will challenge as fake. They're liars, not Rahm. Ever notice Rahm clams up when confronted in person about City crime stats? His Media Affairs Office puts out press releases, not his quotes. When a rogue reporter asks him a harsh question, he ducks, dodges and walks away.
Rahm keeps a steady organized pandering campaign going, with your money of course. He has a huge Media staff that controls the mainstream chooches. He continues to toot his own horn about his pet projects that leave most taxpayers without any fair share of city services. His 2019 run is already in planning, so all upticks in crime are attributed to police distrust and that's going to be fixed with Special Ed's new Communitiy Introduction Recruit Program, conjured up by Never on the Street Academy exempt staffers.
Then you have a Supt that gives thugs his cellphone number, a County president that won't prosecute, appointed judges that release criminals, a sheriff that closes jails...what do you expect?
There's a city council that votes 95% in favor with Rahmfuhrer.
There's 80% of registered voters (+fraudulents) overwhelmingly choosing the Democrat.
Rahmfuhrer is going to hold on to his post as long as he's not ousted by a minority candidate.
Maybe even a Republican or Independent will pop up once most of this anti-police rhetoric subsides under a new, qualified and unbiased Presidential Administration.
In the meantime, Keep paying those high taxes and hope crime doesn't come to your street.
You know things are bad when your murder rate can move the nationwide stats.
