Crime Rate to Climb Again

  • Earlier today President Obama commuted the sentences of another 153 federal prisoners bringing his total to 1,176, more than the previous 11 presidents combined. The president also pardoned another 78 individuals, bringing his total pardons over the course of his eight years in office to 148. Combined, these 231 acts of clemency sets a record for the most ever granted by a president in a single day in history.

This latest move is just further evidence of his stated intention to ramp up commutations throughout the remainder of his presidency. And, while the President often claims publicly that his commutations are only for "low-level" and "non-violent" criminals, 395 of the 1,176 commutations were offered to people serving life sentences...which typically aren't given to "low-level" criminals caught with a couple ounces of drugs on them.
When Quinn pardoned those hundreds of prisoners, shootings and property crime started climbing steadily. There's no reason to think the same thing won't happen nationally.

In a previous post, some people were commenting that Sparklefarts could be counted on to pardon that cop-killing waste of oxygen in Pennsylvania prior to his leaving office. But from what we read, he can only pardon Federal inmates, not State prisoners and as far as we know, that jagoff was convicted in state court.

Never mind that these dealers were caught with guns. Guns that they had used or were willing to use. Obama in his life never meet a dealer that he didn't like. But have one of his daughters taking a hit or two off a joint and he gets bent out of shape. Yeah like the majority of LEFTISTS, don't care when shit impacts 'Joe Six Pack' and his family, but when it impacts their family, then this shit has to stop.

Of the 231 people who received a pardon or a reduced sentence from Mr. Obama, virtually all had been serving sentences under tough antidrug laws, including those convicted of low-level, nonviolent crimes like possession of cocaine.

Those who received pardons had completed their sentences and are, in the words of Neil Eggleston, the White House counsel, now leading “a productive and law-abiding post-conviction life, including by contributing to the community in a meaningful way.” The pardons wipe away any legal liabilities from a conviction.

Commutations are different. They typically shorten the sentences of people in prison, often by many years, but do not eliminate a conviction or restore rights lost, such as the right to vote. In many cases, the people selected to have their sentences commuted have participated in drug treatment, or educational or vocational technology courses while in prison.

Right about Blago. I met him quite a few times and always considered him to be slimy. However, his sentence really was excessive, especially when you compare his crime and punishment to that of Mr. And Mrs. J.J. Jr.

Maybe "hey jackass" can keep track of those who's sentence were commuted. Then when they commit another crime and are arrested again we can add those numbers up. Seriously though I really hope it's not for shooting a law enforcement officer. You got guys that are big time dope dealers arrested while armed being released. What does he think these guys are going to do become Walmart greeters???

There was a 6 point program through the Justice Department that was going to conduct back ground checks all felons engaged in this process. WEAPONS charges was one of the 6 points that would automatically disqualify an individual from this program. Next time there's a killing and Senator Durbin is standing up there calling for tougher gun laws remember this example of how the laws presently on the books are not enforced.

A kid i grew up with father is one of those commuted. He was/is a high ranking latin king who was serving a life sentece. At his sentencing they talked about all the murders he was involved in but they couldn't convict on. That is the kind of people that idiot released. I told my friend i was happy for him but that his dad desesrved the sentence he got. His son is hard working honest man who had no desire to end up like his father.

Cleaning out the jails now and there will be more space available for future repeat offenders anyway.
Ghetto murder and shooting is not a problem for Police to solve. We don't get a podium to tell them folks to "knock it off".
The more crime that happens in Chicago may eventually trickle up to blame Rahm or whoever may become mayor...providing the Taxpayers WAKE UP. The media will bury the one time headline of Crime is Rising and focus on police corruption, new infrastructure jobs, funding the underserved, bashing President Trump for ending Sanctuary Cities, etc.
So I say, the hell with it, Stay Fetal and let the City go the way of Detroit as far as the shootings go in ghettoland.

Blago can rot. Hes the jagoff who banned zinc framed guns (ravens and jennings 22 crap) with some melting point rule nonsense. So now every gangster-stroke who used to shoot someone in the ass with a junk .25 is now packing a 9mm or 40, and we wonder why theres more dead shitheads and bystanders. Blago fucked the pensions to fund some nonsense kid healthcare program instead. This state lost a net 36K productive citizens last year, and the reason is the business climate and taxes, and Blago never saw a tax he didnt like. Eff that guy.

Definition of homicide:
1
: a person who kills another
2
: a killing of one human being by another

Followed the link, and then followed his link to the DOJ press release. First two life sentences are conspiracy to manufacture, distribute or possess coke and conspiracy to distribute 5 grams of meth.

Both are commuted from life in prison down to 20 years in prison.

Neither will go free for years. Yet Durden says "Another 1300 Democratic votes and counting. That's a lie on his part.

I don't have too much trouble with conspiracy to distribute being worth 'only' 20 years. If someone can show me that Dale Wayne Aldridge is linked to allegations of violence, I would feel differently. But I googled and found no such suggestions.
