Denver Ambush
- A man fired more than 100 rounds at sheriff’s deputies early Sunday, killing one and injuring four others, before being fatally shot himself in what authorities called an ambush. Two civilians were also injured.
Douglas County Sheriff Tony Spurlock said the shooting happened at a home at the Copper Canyon Apartments, a landscaped complex in Highlands Ranch, 16 miles south of Denver.
The suspect was well-known to authorities but Spurlock declined to name him until his identity was confirmed. Authorities had left the home about four hours earlier to address a noise complaint and returned to in response to reports of a disturbance at the home.
Thoughts and prayers to the Douglas County Sheriffs. Stay alert boys and girls.

Mr. Unstable Volume asshole did not
take the hint, like most people would,

Another untreated/under treated psycho bagger.
RIP brother you are a hero, heroes live forever 🇺🇸
Prayers for the families of the officers involved.
RIP officer, prayers for the survivors and families, and shame on the libs who are undoubtedly going to try to use this incident to attack our 2nd Amendment rights. Blue lives forever.
Just moved to Highlands Ranch, from Chicago. Thought I'd be away from shit birds in Colorado. Guess not. Sad story involving a young family.
White males are dangerous to the police... especially vets with guns.. be careful..
Rest In Peace Brother, May St Michael welcome you into his arms.
What a terrible day. RIP officer. May God watch over your family.
Very sad sorry for officers involved. Didn't COPA say domestics aren't dangerous? Maybe someone should rethink that stupid viewpoint.
God bless you brother. When they run from, we run to!
Citizen reader: It did not take President Trump long to tweet out a message of support and it did not go unnoticed. You would never get anything from Obama or Hillary. But when Trump tweeted how we love our police and support them 100% it reminded me of something else. When he is conducting one of his rallies outside of DC around the country where the normal people live and he speaks of his support for law enforcement, 10,000 or 20,000 thousand people at those rallies cheer him. And this is something that should not be forgotten because the normal people of this country are grieving for this officer, Zach Parrish and his family.
Now they tell us suspect made online threats.
Too late now when the music from the memorial
is playing in the background and the officer gets
his final 5 seconds of radio time, this time national.
Shooter was an Iraq vet with an axe to grind. Expect this trend to continue.
