- Last month, Isaiah White was arrested after he repeatedly fired an AR-15 out the window of an SUV as the car drove around Englewood.
Although no one was hurt, prosecutors said evidence found while investigating that case led to an even more serious charge: a murder White allegedly committed hours before the shooting spree.

He'll be out on cheap bail shortly, be sentenced to something like time served, and finally return to Englewood (after turning his life around) to properly court and marry the object of his affection.

On a marginally more serious note, like many recent goings-on this sounds like it was pulled straight from a Saints Row video game. When your downstate neighbors in Champaign created that stuff a few years ago it was intended to be darkly funny, excessively over-the-top satire directed at lower Midwest crime problems and the 'crime simulator' games like GTA, not lessons for better living.

Civilians don't need a weapon like an Ar-15. They should ban those fully semi-automatic gun that can spray bullets with a single trigger pull and hold 100 bullets in the clip. That s the same gun the Army uses over in those far away countries we have wars in to promote Democracy so everyone can be free like us. Just because the bill of Rights says you can own a gun doesn't mean guns like we have today, they meant muskets. I wish the Police would go collect all those guns and take them away like they just did in New Zealand so everyone would be safe and there would be no more crime. If we can save one life, it would be worth it. Think of the children, for Pete's sake.
