The officers started chasing the man through the block, shooting him in a gangway during the second of two “armed confrontations” during the pursuit, Malinowski said. A handgun was recovered at the scene.
Headline implies the impetus for the shooting is a foot chase. Three paragraphs to get to the mention of a gun. Police hater Nader Issa is the "reporter."

First and foremost, a big tip of the hat to the officers involved.
It sounds to be a very stressful and chaotic situation- and I’m glad you all went home safely. You acted admirably and heroically under stress, and are a shining example of how this city has some of the finest professional law enforcement officers around.
I would also like to say that I’m surprised that Officer Malinowski landed in the spot he’s at.
It’s extremely refreshing to see someone articulate, who understands how this job goes, and who says what needs to be said standing in front of a camera.

WBEZ also has a slanted way of spinning it and clearly showing their true colors as police haters. Cant remember the exact wording but on the car ride home they made it seem as if two officers were somehow punished and had their police powers removed and punished after shooting a mad on the west side. Curious to hear, and thinking that two officers did something wrong based on the announcement I intently listened for the commercials to finish to get the details. Once I realized what the real story was I was pissed at how they made it seem as if the police had done something wrong. Disgusting slant on reporting.

The sun times reporters are cop haters specifically Issa and Matt Hendrickson. They take their lead from the directions of cop hater Chris Fusco. The paper hates the police and does everything on a regular basis to push the false agenda of cops killing blacks perpetrated by BLM and the democratic left. Fusco constantly copied Rahm’s press releases and we can be sure he will also carry loris racist cop hater agenda as well. The sun times must be called on this.

Saw that the “Blaze” is not happy with fr. flaky! He had to apologize to any and all Jewish people who were offended by the hate that was spewed from the alleged Catholic Church under flake’s control. It’s not like the cardinal is going to do anything about it.....

It’s like the media have a template for these stories where they just have to fill in the names and paste in a grade-school graduation picture.

Hmmmm. So The Trib is starting to report facts once again? Maybe it's time to sign up for another subscription after cancelling years ago. Think I'll wait to see if this is a recurring theme though. As for the Sun Times, they still make great bird cage liners.

Worked a huge chunk of my career in 010. Midnights and 3rd. What a wasteland. Happy to be out of that hell hole. Now I’m chilling and grinning on the north side. He cited Global Warming, and when criticized about his stupid remark, said he would address the issue. We’re still waiting......

I saw Father phagger at the home depot in Oaklawn, as I got to the register I turned around and asked him if he was mad because facebook banned him. Phagger looked at me and mumbled who the fuck are you. I laughed and walked away
