Crimesha Drops Booze-O Charges
- Prosecutors have dropped all criminal charges against a Chicago cop who was accused of battering an on-duty officer outside a Boystown bar while dressed as a clown on Halloween night.
And a woman who was charged with emailing a false report of a mass shooting at the city’s Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA) has reached a deferred prosecution deal with prosecutors.
Prosecutors have agreed to drop all charges against Chicago Police Officer Karina Salgado, the 30-year-old cop who had been accused of striking an on-duty officer in the face after she had a dispute with a Boystown nightclub doorman on Halloween night.

- Alison Yohanna, the former COPA employee of who was accused of filing a false report and official misconduct stemming from a false mass shooting report, has entered a one-year deferred prosecution agreement, according to court records.
Yohanna was accused of sending a Dec. 28, 2018, email to the Chicago Inspector General’s office in which she claimed that another COPA worker was planning a mass shooting at the agency’s office.

She can sue all she wants. If it's on body cam her striking a police officer, it doesn't matter how bad her feelings are hurt for looking like an idiot. Next time don't go to gay bars painted as a clown on Halloween, and start fights with the bouncer after you get kicked out of the bar, for being drunk, and then hit the cop that responds, and then refuse to leave when told to do so. She barely has two years on the job. Yeah, I'd trust her judgement in dealing with the public.

Agree - ZERO TOLERANCE for PPO’s. Especially for the stupid ones; slapping a bouncer while intoxicated in public, working as bouncer @ liquor establishment (bar), Vehicular Homicide, DUI’s. WTF! Can’t even imagine their pompous attitudes when off probation. They, themselves, violated Rules&Regulations/General Orders - Immediately TERMINATE. You were warned PPO, there are no 2nd chances while on probation. At least there never use to be.

Unless they were “guided” by some sort of promise for it to go away. I am part of KMA club and you can guarantee that I would not let this case disappear if I or my partner were signed complainants. She don’t deserve prison but deserves to be terminated and felony probation. A conviction or conditional discharge would have pleased me. But of course she will be at call back 311 for 5 years collecting a paycheck in typical corrupt Chicago. And then we will wonder why the public is so sick of the same old business as usual corruption from politicians and police department

Suing for what. It was her mugshot. You see mugshots in the paper and on TV everyday.
Officer never showed up in court. Someone got to those arresting officers with the promise of no civil action if they didn’t show up resulting in the case getting dropped. Shame on them for not going to six court dates.
The next drop should be Kim Foxx from the office of Cook County State's Attorney. She and Anita Alvarez are two of the worst state's attorneys I have seen in my looong lifetime.
The democratic party sucks, but I'm going to vote for Bill Conway anyway just to get rid of Foxx.
If a republican makes the runoff, then I'm going republican.
