Detroit Again
- While gun control activists are still trying to convince the American people that guns are never used in self-defense but only in mass shootings, yet another intruder has bitten the dust after being faced with an armed homeowner ready to protect his home.
In fact, this is the 5th time in just two weeks that a Detroit homeowner has used lethal force to protect his home and family. You can read our other recent stories on Detroit homeowners defending their homes with firearms here.
In this case two men broke into the Detroit home on Thursday at 12:30pm, in broad daylight. The homeowner grabbed his gun and fired at the suspects, hitting one of them. While the one suspect got away the other collapsed in the driveway and died on the scene.
Detroit's crime rate had no where to go but down, but we're glad to see it so ably assisted by law abiding gun owners defending themselves and their own.

We as Police Officers everywhere must protect anyone who clearly uses justified lethal force to protect themselves and their home and family from politicians, ASA and "Rev-runs" who would twist the truth and do them harm in any way.
I have been hearing stories about people in rural Canada who have used their firearms to protect themselves and have been ruined by the "Queens Government" for protecting themselves from felons. All members of the British Commonwealth have given up their firearms including Australia. They also support the International Small Arms Treaty which would overstep the U.S. Constitution. This is favored by BHO and Hillary and I am sure Rahm.
That would be the ultimate gun-grab.

Arm your families. Make sure they train regularly and are prepared in the event of an encounter.
You have a fire extinguisher in case of a fire, a first aid kit in case of injury. You need to give them the tools and training in case of crime.
That Second Amendment sure does come in handy for those who can't count on the government doing everything for them.

You really think that those of us "civilians" (firefighter and spouse of a PO here) that have a concealed carry license dont know the difference between a cop knocking on our door and a choir boy kicking the door in? Give us a little credit. Time for a reality check bubba.
With all the guns that end up in the wrong hands, the negligent owner should be held responsible for its loss.

1) Crime will go down.
2) Wildings will stop in downtown.
3) Jails will not be overcrowded.
4) Taxes will go down because entitlement programs will have less multi-generational enrollees.
5) The long-running show COPS will have a harder time to fill up a half-hour every week.
6) Political hacks will be less likely to be voted in by special interest groups looking to exchange their vote for a free phone.

The liberal media do not report these stories of gun-carrying law-abiding citizens defending themselves because they see such stories as aberrations, as well as it goes against their philosophy of having the government do everything for you. Yet stories like Sandyhook get reported as if they are the start of a vicious trend, as if they are the norm, and with urgency to end Second Amendment rights.
Whereas stories of homeowners defending themselves may get people thinking about the wider implications: if I can defend my home with firearms, maybe I can defend my neighborhood, my city, my state, and my country against those who are trying to take away what I have worked hard to acquire.
And that is what scares the liberals.
Nothing makes a liberal retard angrier than knowing there are gun toting moms out there able to defend themselves and their children without having to call the government for assistance.
This type of freedom and independence is contrary to their socialist "it takes a village" way of thinking. It's what made America great and now it's back in the land of the commie. Enjoy, shitheads!

Keep in mind that these same folks who are practicing concealed carry in Illinois REMOVED all training credits for LE / Cops from the law in a trailer bill immed after they had obtained permits for themselves.
Anyone who takes a Hunter Safety course gets a automatic training credit for a classroom course with no range component.
If a trained LE or retired/former LE wants a Illinois CC permit, they get ZERO credit now for any prior training.
If you think these guys are on our side, they are not. They actively worked to make it as hard as possible and costly as possible ONLY for LE personnel to get such a permit to protect themselves and their families.
While its our duty to be fair even to those civilians who are not fair to us, lets not pretend that the Illinois CC permit holders are friends of the LE community because these people generally hate all former and current cops, and express that regularly. They do not want any training credit for cops, yet want us to protect their carry rights. F them.
