Final Report - Poor Decisions

Channel 2, Channel 5, Channel 7, the Sun Times and Tribune all cover the final NTSB finding:

• In their final conclusions, the board determined the probable cause of the accident was the pilots' failure to use the reverse thrusters quickly enough to slow down or stop the plane after landing. That prompted the runway overrun.
  
  NTSB members Steven Chealander says the Boeing 737's crew made a bad decision to land that day and probably should have diverted the flight.

Hey, speaking of bad decisions, how about this one?

Now THAT was a bad decision! Anyone ever find out how that CR investigation ended up? Or is this one of those uncomfortable silences where all the bosses feel a tiny twinge of shame for not being able to discipline a blond female sergeant for some unexplained reason? And Sarge, did you ever apologize to the parents of Joshua Woods for your complete lack of judgment and blatant insensitivity?
