FOP Shitshow

Fun times at the Board Meeting last night.

Catanzara requested (demanded?) the Board hire a lawyer, but not just any lawyer - a lawyer with experience dealing with federal investigations. Now who would be under a federal investigation and why would the Lodge have to pay for that lawyer? Unless the Lodge itself was under investigation?

He also fired the First VP (Mette) from his Field Rep spot. As readers may or may not be aware, the Field Rep spots are filled at the direction of the president, meaning if an opposition candidate won a top seven spots that are traditionally also Field Reps (Pres, VP1, VP2, VP3, Recording Sec, Financial Sec or Treasurer) the President can (and has in past administrations) frozen out opponents to put lackeys in.

If we aren't mistaken, there was a By-Law proposal to lock in the top seven spots as Field Reps since members voted for them to be there, but it was shot down by either Nolan or Donahue so they could control who was detailed to the Lodge.

Mette is still First VP, but he'll be back at his regular assignment when the paperwork clears downtown. That's what happens when you're the one filing the charges against the president.

Strap in boys and girls - things are getting interesting, and not in a good way.

Border Patrol Making Arrests

But hey, Fata$$ and Conehead don't want federal help!

Someone better warn the feds to bring their own backup - 011 is one of the most backlogged Districts in the city starting at noon.

But this had us laughing out loud:

  • Federal agents rappelled from a Black Hawk helicopter onto the rooftops of Chicago residential buildings, launching a sweeping immigration enforcement operation targeting suspected Tren de Aragua gang members, according to NewsNation.

The operation, led by ICE with support from the FBI and U.S. Border Patrol, was designed to apprehend high-priority targets connected to the Venezuelan crime syndicate that U.S. authorities have accused of trafficking, violence, and other cross-border crimes.

And according to CWB, aldercreature Ray Lopez voiced support for the raid:

  • [Tren de Aragua]'s took over the building,” Lopez wrote, adding, “they will not be missed — except by @ChicagosMayor & the Leftinos!”

Fun times indeed.

Shutdown Truths

The latest democrat lie making the rounds is that no money is being spent on ILLEGAL ALIENS health care, that Trump is lying because ILLEGAL ALIENS aren't even eligible to participate in the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).

That doesn't explain why they want a trillion dollars to fund assorted "subsidies" that they themselves put a sunset provision on years ago, but maybe this will explain it a little better:

  • California - Medi-Cal is funded through a partnership between the state of California and the federal government, with the federal government covering about 50% of the costs ($10-to-12 BILLION dollars per year.) A quick Google search shows that ILLEGAL ALIENS can participate in Medi-Cal through this year with few previous restrictions, and future restrictions are merely "proposed" for next year;
  • HealthChoice Illinois is funded through a combination of federal and state resources, primarily through Medicaid, which supports low-income individuals. 65% is Federal money. Can Undocumented Immigrants Get Medicaid in Illinois? Yes, undocumented immigrants can get Medicaid in Illinois. The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) offers two programs that provide health care coverage to ILLEGAL ALIENS;

  • New York's Essential Plan (EP) is a low-cost health insurance program designed for residents who do not qualify for Medicaid or employer-sponsored insurance. It has been crucial in providing coverage to many, especially legal immigrants. The federal government historically covered about 95% of the costs for the Essential Plan through subsidies from the Affordable Care Act (ACA). In New York, undocumented immigrants may qualify for the Essential Plan, which offers low-cost health insurance for adults with low income who do not qualify for Medicaid. However, eligibility for the Essential Plan typically requires a valid visa or deferred action status....

The top three blue state shitholes take federal block grants and dish it out to ILLEGAL ALIENS, then claim since the feds don't fund it directly, those aren't federal dollars. The trouble is, when that money goes away, they'd have to gut their own budgets to maintain the levels of funding that would otherwise go to help actual taxpaying citizens.

We know most readers don't really care, but they should. Roads are crap, bridges are falling down, infrastructure is outdated and failing. We need massive upgrades in air traffic control, computer technology, and national defense improvements in light of what's happening in Ukraine. We can't do it importing third world leeches and catering to their needs.

Minor Consequences

The number of years this went on, just pointed to how broken the Department has been:

  • A retired Chicago police officer accused of repeatedly filing false auto theft reports to avoid paying traffic fines has pleaded guilty and will serve probation, according to court records.

Jeffrey Kriv, 56, pleaded guilty to a single count of theft before Judge Jennifer Coleman last week. In exchange, prosecutors dropped eight other felony counts, including multiple counts of perjury. Coleman ordered Kriv to pay $4,500 in restitution as part of the deal.

Kriv, who retired from the department in January 2023, was accused of falsely reporting that his girlfriend had stolen his personal car on 44 separate occasions since 2009 to beat parking and automated traffic tickets. Prosecutors said he claimed during administrative hearings that his girlfriend had taken the vehicle each time the citations were issued. Officials alleged he submitted nearly identical false police reports to support his claims, which resulted in the dismissal of dozens of tickets.

Forty-four separate reports of his car being stolen....and no one caught on? Multiple perjury charges, but allowed to plead to a single charge that results in probation.

Must be nice to be connected.

Medical Section News

Is this a big deal?

We avoided the Medical Section like it was the plague, especially on the way out the door. But we did hear horror stories and there have been hints here and there in the comment sections, especially when it concerned the CPD and CFD trying to force obviously unwell Officers and Firefighters back onto the street.

We're all for rooting out the scammers - but they never seemed to catch any of those.

Porkulous at it Again

He has no idea that video recording is a thing, right?

  • Illinois Governor JB Pritzker says it is dangerous for the Trump administration to call the Democratic Party "fascist." "This is about sowing fear and intimidation and division among Americans."

Really? Roll the tapes!

  • Democratic Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker claimed that he never called President Donald Trump and Republicans “Nazis,” but several tapes of the governor show he did indeed invoke the fascist regime.

Pritzker denied during a Monday press conference that he had ever called Republicans “Nazis,” though he has compared Trump, tech billionaire Elon Musk and the Republican Party as a whole to Nazi Germany. The rhetoric from himself and many other political leaders has come into question following the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk by an individual who subscribed to left-wing and transgender ideology.

“No, I have not. That is completely false. I have never called Republicans Nazis. That’s what [Republicans] would like to say, they’re lying. They’re lying,” Pritzker said. “Well, that’s not what I called them.”

Or this from the reliably lib-tarded MSN:

  • Democratic Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker claimed that he never called President Donald Trump and Republicans “Nazis,” but several tapes of the governor show he did indeed invoke the fascist regime.

They have a bunch of video links at their site.

What Fata$$ is probably fearful of is that he knows the rhetoric the left has been using for decades has been inspiring political violence from their followers for decades. And now that the right has been pushed to turn their favorite tactic against them, there's the risk (however small it may be) that an unhinged person on that side might ::ahem:: retaliate in kind at someone who makes the broad side of a barn look skinny and only moves quickly when headed for the buffet....

So he gets in front of the cameras and lies....so badly that even MSN won't provide cover.

Conehead Doubles Down

Proving again, he's just an asshole:

  • Democratic Mayor Brandon Johnson of Chicago praised a woman who was convicted in the killing of a police officer during a 1973 traffic stop in a video posted to social media Monday.

The Cuban government announced Thursday that Joanne Chesimard, also known as Assata Shakur, died in Havana. Johnson was asked about a post by the Chicago Teachers Union praising Shakur during a Monday press conference.

“Assata Shakur is an important person in the black liberation movement who has repeatedly claimed her innocence,” Johnson claimed.

Most criminals claim innocence before, during and after their crimes. It's a ploy they use to influence people who don't have the capacity to impartially evaluate physical evidence and witness testimony....people who are mentally challenged or infirm...like Conehead and many members of the communist teachers' union.

Asshola also ordered the execution of numerous black cops back in the 70's, but Conehead doesn't seem to mind that.

Hire That Felon!

This is from couple months ago, but it's a lawsuit?

  • A new class action lawsuit alleges Walmart’s use of criminal background checks to vet former employees of a third-party logistics company had a disparate impact on Black workers.

Plaintiffs Mark Balentine and Laseant Sardin, who are Black and have criminal records, say they worked for years at a Walmart distribution center in Elwood, Illinois, through a contract with Schneider Logistics.

In 2019, Walmart ended its contract with Schneider and took over the distribution center, offering jobs to the Schneider employees who reapplied.

Balentine and Sardin were initially offered positions with Walmart, but those offers were revoked after the company conducted criminal background checks, the Walmart discrimination lawsuit states.

The plaintiffs say they were not hired because of their criminal records, even though they had been successfully performing the same jobs for years.

Well, it seems obvious that Walmart has different standards for their employees. Walmart has an obligation to it's shareholders to increase the value of the company and one of the ways they do that is eliminating a possible danger to the bottom line. They're not obligated to employ persons who have proven themselves untrustworthy in the past.

Before you know it people will expect the government to force religious bakers to make to conduct business with persons who the bakers think act immorally.

Still Exporting Problems

Useless CPD exempts still infecting other jurisdictions:

  • For those unfamiliar with Broadview Chief of Police Thomas Mills, he is a former CPD.

Mills did not enjoy a good reputation in Chicago. In fact, he was described as "not the real police."

    We now know why.

Mills is moaning about ICE agents at the Broadview ICE facility "verbally abusing" him.

Mills is also complaining about the steps ICE has been forced to take to keep far-Left protesters at a distance from the facility. ICE has resorted to deploying non-lethal tear gas and pepper balls to disperse the protesters.

Perhaps if Mills had his officers arresting the anti-ICE protesters who are obstructing federal agents, ICE agents wouldn't be forced to use pepper balls and tear gas.

And were the protestors also "verbally abusing" him or just ICE?

Useless here and useless there.

Name Change on Tap

Crack addict and attempted murderer headed to court next week to change her name in an effort to conceal her criminal past from future employers:

  • Whitley Temple is going on zoom Oct 6 to get her name changed to "Kendall"

Not sure if the States Attorney's Office is still tossing up roadblocks to prevent this. We think Prickwrinkle is still trying to line up a job for this drug abuser.
